A music video that has gone viral in Israel in the last couple of days captures well some of the more widely expressed feelings many of the players on all sides have.
What is now a long time ago - a few years before COVID there was one of these for Jewish and Arab/Palestinian citizens of Israel. It was quite good too; this hits harder right now though.
Very powerful video. But I think you misinterpreted it - I don't think the message is how much we really do hate each other, but that we DON'T. I saw a lot of pain and anger, but no hatred. I saw the two finally start to understand each other. And I think the final scene proves this perspective.

The people of Israel’s role in the world is thus to unite (“love your neighbor as yourself”) above division (“love will cover all transgressions”) in order to spread love and unity to the world (to be “a light unto the nations”).
