There were more dangerous times. The 1948 War for Independence & the 1973 War could easily have led to the destruction of Israel. I don't like Netanyahu, the extremests in his government nor the intolerance & rigidity of the Haredim but we can't lose tract of the fact that between 1932 & 1945 6-8 million Jews were murdered including 1.5 million children. What if Israel had gained independence 10 years earlier. We want a democracy but Israel's survival is paramount!
