So, I just finished listening to the interview, and unfortunately I still don't know what to think of this reform. The potential harmful consequences are clear, and my feeling is that there is, in fact, a real danger in what's being proposed. What isn't yet clear to me is whether the current system is indeed so great that no reform is needed. For instance, he claims that the interference of the court, in general, is minimal and justified. I don't know if it is really minimal or not (again, I'm just a layman, and I wouldn't even be able establish a metric to decide whether there were just "a few" decisions or not); but then I hear the specific cases described by Yonatan Green in the The Times of Israel event, and the HC seems to be crossing the boundaries of its designated role in those cases.

I just hope the people involved in this reform can get to an agreement and this great nation can survive this crisis.
