Dearest Daniel, please know, I do not know anyone from Israel, I am not even sure I know any Jewish people, I do not see how Israel has any choice but to completely erase Hamas. THE world needs to assist in this endeavour! I personally believe Citizens and governments of the world need to do everything in its power to assist Israel. I am not even sure a Palestinian state (that harbours, supports and votes in a criminal organization) can sit beside Israel. God bless each and every one!
Top notch job as usual, Daniel. I've been rethinking Zionism too. I'm seeing Israel as the Jews' last stand, for better or worse. The Diaspora needs to be called in with a national project to resettle them before it will be a forced matter. Antisemitism cannot be defeated in the realm of public opinion. It will only grow. Antisemites, however, can be defeated when they rise up against us, in Israel.
The video of the father and son is extraordinary. The courage, calm under pressure, and sensitivity. And the willingness to make a split second moral calculation and decide to rescue those 30 people even though it meant delaying the rescue of their own family member. Brought me to tears. Thank you for sharing this.
