Wonderful episode. Thank you for introducing Noa to us. And thank you for your idea of looking at Israeli poetry over Shabbat dinner. Would love to hear other suggestions from you about Israeli centric conversation starters for Shabbat dinner.

Thank you for a wonderful episode. Is there a link where we can buy the book in the USA? I could not find it on a brief web search. I’m trying to learn Hebrew so this might be a good way to practice, even though I know I will miss many nuances.

"For everyone who grew up in Hebrew. Yeah, I think it's really a suggestion, which is like, I think while writing it, I understand how impossible and terrible it is to give up my language and to give up my place." So difficult. It was my main consideration in deciding against aliyah-- I could not give up English, which also carries a tradition, of Shakespeare, of the King James Bible and their beautiful sonorous language, at least for one raised in a conventional American public school until recently. Though language was hardly the only consideration.
